American rapper Kirk Knight hit the ground running on this year’s festival circuit and is fast becoming one to watch on the hip hop scene.

The 20 year old - real name Kirlan Labarrie - has already worked as a producer and songwriter and credits meeting Joey Bada$$, and joining hip hop collective Pro Era, with helping him hone his medium. With a sound that borders on electro hip hop, Knight has already amassed an impressive following Stateside after making a name for himself at this year’s South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, and he's now making his way over here. Drawing on inspiration from artists such as J Dilla, Madlib, Kanye West, and the Notorious B.I.G, it's no wonder his recent gig in London sold out.
